Met meer dan twintig jaar ervaring is Rolf Hoogenberg (1984) een gerenommeerd dirigent en trombonist binnen de Nederlandse muziekwereld. Hij combineert visie met vakmanschap en staat bekend om zijn krachtige leiderschap, resultaatgerichte aanpak en vermogen om musici op ieder niveau naar een hoger plan te tillen.
Dirigent met breed bereik
Rolf dirigeert een breed scala aan orkesten, variërend van educatieve en amateurorkesten tot professionele orkesten en grootschalige producties. Wat de context ook is, zijn aanpak is altijd gericht op kwaliteit, samenwerking en maximale muzikale impact.
Ervaring in grootschalige producties
Rolf is 2e dirigent bij The Cinemusic Experience en treedt in 2025-2026 aan als 2e Musical Director bij West Side Story (De Graaff en Cornelisse). Zijn ervaring in grootschalige muziektheaterproducties onderstreept zijn veelzijdigheid en betrouwbaarheid op het hoogste niveau.
Actief als uitvoerend musicus
Naast zijn werk als dirigent blijft Rolf actief als trombonist. Hij is al jarenlang vast lid van The Amsterdam Brass Quintet en speelde onder meer in de Les Misérables NL-BE tour (2023-2024) van De Graaff en Cornelisse en de Stage Entertainment productie Disney’s Frozen.

Initiatiefnemer en ontwikkelaar
Met ‘Mijn Eerste Concert!’ ontwikkelde Rolf een programma dat jonge musici hun eerste podiumervaring biedt. Dit initiatief laat zien hoe hij onderwijs, inspiratie en professionaliteit weet te verbinden.
Rolf Hoogenberg staat voor leidinggeven met visie, werken met energie en presteren met kwaliteit. Of het nu gaat om een jeugdorkest, een professionele productie of een internationaal podium: hij zorgt voor muziek die beklijft en samenwerking die resultaat oplevert.

With more than twenty years of experience, Rolf Hoogenberg (b. 1984) is an acclaimed Dutch conductor and trombonist within the national music scene.
He combines artistic vision with technical mastery and is known for his strong leadership, result-oriented approach, and ability to elevate musicians of all levels.
A Conductor with Broad Reach
Rolf conducts a wide range of orchestras, from educational and amateur ensembles to professional orchestras and large-scale productions.
Whatever the context, his work is always driven by quality, collaboration, and maximum musical impact.
Experience in Large-Scale Productions
Rolf currently serves as assistant conductor with The Cinemusic Experience and will take on the role of associate musical director for West Side Story (De Graaff and Cornelisse) during the 2025–2026 season.
His experience in large-scale musical theatre productions highlights his versatility and reliability at the highest professional level.
Active Performing Musician
In addition to his conducting career, Rolf remains active as a trombonist.
He has been a long-standing member of The Amsterdam Brass Quintet and has performed in major productions including the Les Misérables NL-BE Tour (2023–2024) by De Graaff and Cornelisse and Disney’s Frozen by Stage Entertainment.
